Srimad Azaghiyasingar arrived at Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur on 15 Dec 2008 from Pune after inaguration of Gold Ratham for Lord Balaji.H H was received with full temple honours and veda gosham. Sri Ramani,President welcomed the Acharyan with a new ' Gold Pornakumbham'. This gold kubha vessal will be used for rituals for Sri Prahaladan, Srimad Azaghiyasingar announced in his anugrahana bhashan. . H H then did mangalasasanam to all perumals in the temple. As the "Gold Thiruaradana Mandapam " is making it's maiden appearance at the Chembur mutt, a formal inaguration was held in the hands of Srimad Azaghiyasingar on 15 Dec 2008 evening. Sri Ramani, President of Chembur Mutt to commarate the occasion offered to Srimad Azaghiyasingar, a " Gold Vessel " for offering prasadams during thiruvaradanams. The vessel weighs 2kg. H H explained all features of the gold mandapam to all those present.In his anugrahana bhashanam Srimad Azaghiyasingar expressed his thiruvullam to have all wooden tables used for aradhanam to be covered with Gold sheets. H H further added that he is hopeful that the project is completed before H H leaves Chembur.
