GOLD RATHAM UTSAVAM OFERED TO SRI SRINIVASAR BY SRIMAD AZAGHIYASINGAR; 15 DEC

Sri Ahobila Mutt, Pune now has a Gold Ratham offered to Sri Srinivasar,by Srimad Azaghiyasingar on 15 Dec 2008. The inaguration Rathothsavam commenced with blessings and sybolic pulling of the ther by Srimad Azaghiyasingar.The design and look of Gold Ratham has impressed Srimad Azaghiyasingar very much that H H told a gathering of devotees in Mumbai that all should go to Pune Sri Ahobila Mutt and have darshan.The rathothsavam held on 15 dec 2008 made a pradakshinam of the temple twice with Srimad Azaghiyasiar leading and ther pulled by lot of devotees.The first two pradakshinams were with Sri Srinivasar and His concerts. Srimad Azaghiyasingar then desired to have Utsava moorty of Sri Padmavathy Thayar in Gold ratham and the utsavam was also immediatly organised for Thayar. Srimad Azaghiasingar witnessed this also and commended the temple management for organising this grand utsavam.
