I am honored to know Kumari Sukanya and help with her SamAsrayaNa BharayAsam during the ChAthurmAsyam . She will be a treasured Sishyai of Sri Matam . Hr thirst to know more about our sampradhAyam and follow it is extraordinary . V.Sadagopan - govinda rajan darsanam Cc: yennappan Sunday, November 19, 2006 5:48 AM Kum. Sukanya from Pondicherry. Dear Swamins, adiyen happy to forward this mail to all of you that this girl Ku. Sukanya from Pondicherry who was a french nationality and while studying in French school she was learning Sanskrit in the evening with me. She took part in all kinds of Sanskrit activities. She is not from a Brahmin family. She is doing Ph.D in Paris University in France. Today I am surprised to read her mail that she has been performed Samasrayanam and Bharanyasam by HH Srimad Azhagiya singer in the month of July. Kindly read her mail. Her father was not like her. This is the main thing that I want to point out. Here adiyen see that many of our srivaishnavas both Sriman or Srimatis or Kumaras are still to be performed the Samasrayanam or Bharanyasam and waiting for age. I would like to request them to approach their Acharyas and get it done as early as possible without any further delay. Further, request to follow the Acharam such as performing Sandhyavandanam, Using Veshti during Functions like Sravanam, wearing Srichurnam atleast, not eating everywhere and what ever that is possible here and live as a Pure Srivaishnava. I just wrote to you to let you know that in July this year Srimad Azhagiya Singar blessed me with Samasrayanam and bharanyasam. Sri V Sadagopan from New York was more than instrumental in this. Srimad Azhagiya Singar was very surprised and glad to note that my Sanskrit pronunciation was good. I told him about you and the Sanskrit classes in Pondicherry, and he was very happy. Later on, he opted for Ukti nishtai because he thought I was capable of pronouncing all the slokas myself. I was rather tense, as he was telling them very quickly and I hope that badly pronouncing/leaving a few words does not make my prapatti frutiless. (My parents went through the same in October, but they were not asked to repeat much). Srimad Azhagiya Singar kept telling all the people who came (including a Sanskrit professor in Madras University) how spashtam my pronunciation, though I am thoroughly undeserving of such praise from such a great person. I just thought you might like to know about it, as it is always gratifying to a teacher to know that his efforts have had some positive results (in the case of people like me). I'll never be able to thank you enough. Sukanya. ----- Message d'origine ---- De : govinda rajan <vcgrajan À : Suganya Anandakichenin <sug_fr Envoyé le : Jeudi, 3 Mars 2005, 21h24mn 54s Objet : Re: sanskrit in Pondicherry Dear Sukanya, I am very happy to read your mail. I can recognise you very well. Happy to know about you. I am fine here. Hope you are doing well. I am well settled in Muscat, the capital Oman, the neighbouring country of Dubai. My family is also here. Last wednesday I was blessed with a baby boy, he is second to Murarirajan (1 1/2 years). Both mother and child are fine. How is your father? Is he in India or with you. Convey my regards to him. Can u write about your topic in Phd? My days in Pondicherry are very green and that is my fountadation for the job here. One more fine thing that here students/parents are crazy on Sanskrit now. around 400 students study Sanskrit in my school and in the city around 100. I conduct Weekly Sanskrit classes and winter and summer camps like Pondicherry. I have developed websites. Visit: http://www.geocities.com/vcgrajan/teacher.html which will give u link of all my details. Actually my school wants to sponcer me for world events like this. I am in dialemma to apply for the same. Some of my students want to come over their since scotland is convenient to them. I tried to come to finland last July, but could not. I have the appln. form for scotland confrence. Hope if possible, we will meet their. Keep in touch. If any opportunity anywhere for Sanskrit Teachers/prof. please inform me. Govindarajan. Suganya Anandakichenin <sug_fr wrote: Dear Sir, I don't know if you remember me. I learnt Sanskrit for about 6 years in Pondicherry, in your institute. In looking for Sanskrit-teaching kendras, I found your email address in a website. Hope you are well and are still working to promote Sanskrit. I am now an English teacher in France, and I'm doing a PhD in British and Indian literature. I lost touch with Sanskrit till very recently; now I'm trying to participate in the World Sanskrit Conference that is going to take place in July 2006 in Scotland. Are you intending to there? I just wrote to say hello. Pranams, Suganya. Découvrez le nouveau Mail : 250 Mo d'espace de stockage pour vos mails !
