During April 25-27 , 2005 , there will be a Sahasra Kalasa

AbhishEkam for all Nine Narasimha Moorthys of Ahobilam ,

SrI PrahlAdha Varadhan , AzhwArs and AchAryAs .

 

SrImath Azhagiya Singar will be present to bless this function

as a part of the Satha SwAthi Special AarAdhanam kaimkaryam

set up in 1999 . Since then , many improvements have been made

by Srimath Azhagiya Singar both at lower and upper AhObilam

to make the visit to the nine shrines at AhObilam safe and

most enjoyable .

 

Aug 25 is the 80th of the planned 100 Swathi Thirumanjanam

and TadhiyAraadhanam performed during Swathi Nakshathram ,

the birth star of Sri Narasimhan . There will be 1008 Kalasams

with drabyams and sacred waters used in the grand Thirumanjanam .

It has taken six years and 80 Swathy Nakshathrams to

arrive at the important date of April 25 , 2005 . With 20 more

Swathy Thirumanjanams and ThiruvArAdhanams , this Yajnam

of Srimath Azhagiya Singar will be completed in the year 2006 .

 

Please plan on visiting Ahobilam during this very special 80th Swathy

festival

and sponsor one of the grand Kalsams ( Total of 9 ) or Silver Kalasams (

108)

or remaining Brass Kalasams used in the Thirumanjanam . The costs for

sponsorship of the Grand , Silver and Brass Kalasams are Rs.50,000 ,

Rs.10,000 and Rs.500 respectively . Sponsors will recieve the Kalasams that

they sponsored . The sambhAvanai for each of the Veda PaarAyaNa Swamy

would be Rs.2,500 . One can sponsor the Veda ViNNappam as well .
