Dear Sri RanganAtha BhakthAs :

Swamy Desikan prayed from Sathyagalam village on the bank of

Cauvery river in KarnAtaka ( Mel Naadu) some 700 years ago

and sought Lord RanganAthA's intervention to drive away

the invading army of Muslims from the north . Lord RanganAthA ,

the YathOkthakAri fulfilled His dear disciple's wish . Peace

prevailed at Srirangam .

The moving prayer by Swamy Desikan from the tranquil banks of Cauvery

river at Sathyagalam village and in front of Sri PerumdEvi SamEtha Kottai

VaradarAja PerumAL took the form of Sri Abheethi Sthavam .

It takes only 12 minutes and 48 seconds to recite this sthavam .

It will take however a life time to understand the Tatthvams

housed in this Sthavam of Swamy Desikan asking for divine intervention of

the SarvEswaran reclining on AdhisEshA at Sriranga dhivya dEsam .

If we approach Lord RanganAthA as SaraNAgathAs with MahA Viswaasam

and place the burden of protection at His sacred feet , our fears about SamsAram

will truly be banished .

On this auspicious occasion of completing the series of postings on

Swamy Desikan's Sri Abheethi Sthavam , adiyEn wishes to invite

your attention once again to the excellent home pages for Sathyagalam

created with great devotion by Our dear Sridhar Lakshmi Narasimhan ,

the author of many web pages for KarnAtaka temples and Thuppul ,

the birth place of Swamy Desikan :

http://www.sathyagalamtemple.net

These web pages are a treasure to all VaishNavAs .

The cover page itself is an award winning opener .

The content is superbly crafted . The entire Abheethi

Sthavam rendition is embedded in these web pages

right at the front . Please listen to this sthOthram ,

when you experience fear of any kind and seek

the Lord's KarAvalampanam to lift you out of that fear !

Sri RanganAthan is indeed the Kai Kodukkum PerumAL.

If you are unable to find the 12 minutes and 48 seconds to recite

th entire Sthavam , please recite the following 8 lines from the Sthavam

to achieve peace of mind and place the fruits of that invocation

at Lord RanganAthA's sacred feet as Saathvika ThyAgam !

Thrivikrama! JanArdhana! Thriyuga NaaTa ! NaarAyaNa !
