Oh most shining Lord! the One who stands on the ThiruvEmkata mountain, easily accessible to all for paying their obeisance! Oh Lord! the One who is at ThiruveLLakkuLam, surrounded by cool tender, greenery gardens! Please remove the karmic diseases of mine, the one who always sings in praise of You and reaches You! (?paadaa varuvEn vinaiyaayina paaRRE!? Sri Srinivasan is gracefully glowing on top of the divine ThiruvEnkatam. vEm + katam – the one that destroys or burns all paapams [sins]- i.e. karmic diseases. These hills have achieved their sanctity as a direct result of the imprint of Lord Srinivasa's holy feet on them. On top of these hills, the Lord known also as Srinivasa perumAL resides under the vimaanam known as Ananda Nilayam or the abode of bliss. Here, he accepts worship according to Vaiganasa agama tradition.
