Srimath Azhagiyasingar Thirunakshathra mahothsavam

Few things in this world do not have comparisions. For example the vastness

of the sea can be compared only to itself. Similarly there is no parallel for

the thirunakshtra mahothsavam of prakrutham Srimath Azhagiyasingar. This is how

Srikaryam U.Ve. SrI Pazhaveri swami summed up this grand event during the dolai

upanyasam yesterday.

 

This is the start of the 80th thirunakshatram of our dear acharyan. The

assemblage of bhagavathas during the pattinaprevEsam with the accompaniment of

veda parayanam, sthothrapada gosthi, the nadai, oyyALi of SrIpAdam thangis from

Mylapore, serpentine line of bhagavathas for SrI satAri/SrI pAda theertham will

remain fresh in minds of most of us who were fortunate to be around.
