For the past three years , Sri RanganAtha Temple

has celebrated Saint AnnamayyA day .

 

This year , the tradition continues at Sri RanganAtha Temple.

Saint Annamayya day will be celebrated on Saturday , May 28

with extensive aprticpation by children , Students and VidwAns .

Srimathy Venkatesh and her team have assembed an excellent

program . Please refer to the Musical program in the attached file .

TheProgram would start at 2 P.M.

 

Please attend the celebrations including the Thirumanjanam/

ThirukkalyANam for Lord VenkatEsa , enjoy the divine Music of

a great Sri VenkatEsa BhakthA and recieve special Bhagavath

PrasAdham prepared for Sri VenkatEsa on this occasion .

Elsewhere , as an AchAryan , Annamayya gives us the UpadEsam :

 

" Bhavinchika undithE itle paaru nindaina manasu

Sri Venkatesvaruni kolichithe chetha chikki undu manasu "

 

(Meaning) : If we do not control the mind , it will go haywire .

If you worship Lord Venkateswara , your mind will be under

your control.
