apologies for not being able to respond to you. It is not because I am busy; but

due to lazinessL

 

 

 

adiyEn was indeed blessed to receive the CD from Sri Mukund Swami in Singapore

and was extremely fortunate to view the wonderful darshan on Sravana dhinam

precisely enjoying Swamy Desikan Thirunakshathram mahOthsavam in Jakarta. Next

day, I took the same to other Srivaishnavas at Jakarta (since it was Sravana

dwadasi) and we saw again and had dhivya darshan of Swamy Desikan performing

mangalasasanam to Vilakkoli perumAL and Varadan. Varadan's close up shot was

breathtaking and we are blessed.

We have also distributed in sathsangam when we met in Sinagproe. We would

Dear SrIvaishNavAs,

 

We have received a wonderful VCD of thuppul svAmi dESikan doing mangaLASAsanam

at kachchi mAnagar.

 

The clarity of the VCD and the commentary by the U.Ve vidvan (Don't know who is

this great commentator) are marvellous.

 

While svAmi dESikan does magaLASAsanam to an AzhvAr, an AchAryA, perumAL, thAyAr

et al, relevant stotram of svami is chanted in chorus at the backgound.

 

Finally when dEva perumAL comes to do great maryAdai to svami - with a single

garland and - presents this single garland to svAmi, our eyes are filled with

tears.

 

One can experience the choicest blessings of svAmi dESikan while watching this

VCD. (svAmi's Archa shows different bhAvams at different moments).

 

This mahOtsavam was celebrated on 05.10.03, svAmi's tirunakshatra dinam.

 

SrI.SatakOpa tatachar svami of Kanchipuram, who sent this VCD to SrI.VM svami

has written in great detail on this mahOtsavam comparing some scenes from

Sankalpa sooryOdaya nATakam.

 

Those who want a copy of this VCD, please let me know. I'll make some copies and

distribute to the SrIvaishNavas who require copies. (during NAMA event on

Saturday, 18.09.04)
