Sri RanganAtha Temple of Pomona , NY will observe

the Vara Lakshmi Pooja that is important to Sumangalis

for the benefit of long life and health of their husbands and

children .

 

This famous festival at KolhApur MahA Lakshmi Temple ,

MaharAshtrA and Doddaagaddavalli in KarnAtakA as well

as Ashta Lakshmi Temple at Chennai will be performed

with great pomp .

 

At our Temple , we will observe this festival on the PourNami day

in front of Sri Ranga Naayaki , the presiding Empress of

at the Sri RanganAtha Temple on Friday , Aug 19 , 2005 at 8 PM .

With Haratthi & prasAdham , the uthsavam should be over by 9.30 PM .

On Aug 19 Evening , there will be shOdasOpachAra PoojA and recital of

MahA Lakshmi AshtOttharam ELEVEN times . At the end , Swamy Desikan's

Sri Sthuthi will be recited . Haaratthi & prasAdham will follow .
