Dear Srivaishnavas,

 

We had been to Hembargala last Sunday. From Mysore we Travelled to

Nanjangud (22 Kms from Mysore) took left turn to Chamrajnagar Road;

travelled 16 Kms and then on right side at a place know as Badanawal we found an

arch welcoming us to Hembargala which is just 6 Kms . We met Hembargala temple's

Priest sri Veeraraghvan at his thirumaligai, who asked us about our bhojanam etc

as it was 2 Pm . We told we wanted to have Kutti Kannans Darshan first.

 

The bhattar svami came and opened the temple. Here, Kutti Kannan is in Thribangi

Natya pose. Observe his thirumeni which has bends in 3 places with his

thirumukham also slightly bent. Observe his fingers one of it is seen pressing

the hole in flute and it looks cute.

 

Observe Rugmini & Sathyabhama thayars' thirumukhamandalam.... they are

typical and easily distinguishable.

 

Uthsavar is Sri Bhoo Devi Samedha Varadharajar .

 

The Gopram is in Hoysala Style. There is Shila Shasana that Sri Ramanuja visited

this place and did mangalasashanam to this perumal ( Bhattar informed)

 

Take a look on the ornamental single granite peice which was carved and

presented by Mysore Maharaja to Kutti Kannan,

 

Later Bhattar gave us Gooju Avalakki Prasadam which was like divine

 

nectar .
