Dear Astikas,

 

adiyEn would like to clarify the following points regarding the

publication of a book related to adiyEn's father Sri U.Ve. Mukkur

Lakshminarasimha Chariyar titled " nruhari hrudayam "

 

1. This book was never authorized by us (Sri Mukkur Swamy's

family) nor by " Sri Swathi Narasimha Maha Yagna Trust " (Started by Sri

Mukkur Swamy and myself and continues to manage Sri Mukkur Swamy's

publications and various other activities at Chennai and at Sri

Mattapalli Mahakshethram)

 

2. I've read the book and found that it contains many chapters

lifted from Sri Mukkur Swamy's own work such as " Sri Mattapalliyil

Malarnda Maraiporul " and also from " Sri Mukkur Nruhari Gunadarpanam "

(a souvenir published by us during Sri Mukkur Swamys' 60th

Tirunakshathiram celebrations). Other than that the author is trying

to do more of " self propaganda " throughout the book. That apart, there

are many factual errors (including the dates) that are not in line

with the way Sri Mukkur Swamy would want an aAchAryan to be described.

 

3. It looks like the author as well as other people mentioned in

the email posted in the eGroup are 'desparate' to 'earn' money or fame

by these unscrupulous ways. I think, they fail to understand that by

resorting to plagiarism and illegitimate means they not only degrade

their dignity but also the institutions or temples that they try to

represent. By this statement adiyEn would like to inform the astikas

that Sri Mukkur Swamy's family and the Trust constituted by Sri Mukkur

Swamy are " NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE PEOPLE or DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES

AT KATTAVAKKAM TEMPLE OR ANY OTHER TEMPLES MENTIONED IN THE EGROUP

POSTING " .

 

4. In this connection we've also given a News Paper Advertisement

in " The Hindu " .

 

 

Note: Sri Mukkur Swamy has written a Magnum Opus on Sri Mattapalli

Mahakshethram and about the presiding deity " Sri Rajyalakshmyasametha

YogAnanda Lakshminrusimhan " . The title of the book is " Sri

Mattapalliyil Malarnda Maraiporul " and is published by Vaanathi

Pathippagam. Also we have translated that book in English and is

titled " Ko DhaTa? (Who is the Giver?) " . This book also was published

by Vaanathi Pathippagam. We've published a CD containing 600 minutes

of Sri Swamy's Upanyasams as well as Souveneir titled " Sri Mukkur

Nruhari Guna Darpanam " .
