Ahobila Muth is pleased to announce the annual Acharya Day celebrations during

the Labor Day weekend on September 1st and 2nd, 2007 (Saturday and Sunday).

Thirunakshathrams of Swami Sri Vedanta Desikar, Srimath Adivan Satakopan,

Srimath Devanar Vilagam Azhagiyasingar (43rd Jeeyar), Srimath Mukkur

Azhagiyasingar (44th Jeeyar) and the current Azhagiyasingar, Sri Lakshmi

Nrisimha Dhivya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yateendra

Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila Matam will be celebrated during the

two days. This year's function will be held at Sri Ranganatha Temple at Pomona,

NY.

 

Please plan on attending the function with your whole family for a weekend of

religious and cultural events. Lodging and Airport pickup/dropoff will be

provided for out-of-town guests. Please take a moment to register at

http://www.ahobilamutt.org to enable us to plan well for the function. Please

take a moment to view the invitation and also the preliminary program. If you

would like your kids to participate in any of the children's events (painting,

quiz, sloka recitation etc), please indicate that on your registration as well.

 

If you plan on staying at a hotel, the following good hotels are within 6-7

miles of the Temple: Fairfield Inn at Spring Valley, Holiday Inn at Suffern

(Airmont Road), Sheraton ( Nanuet / Nyack ), Hilton Gardens ( Nanuet ).
