Guest guest Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Dear All, I read an article in Hindu which was accusing temples of being 'vanguished' and the proposed whitewashes actually destroying the historical art underneath. While one group calls it renovation, the other calls it vandalism. While one wants to renew the old structures, the other one wants to retain the old one. I am at loss of words but I earnestly believe both sides are correct but I am not sure if there is a middle path.
