Dear Sri Matam SishyAs and AbhimAnis :

 

Here is the status of the 2010 ChAthurmAsya Vrata Kaimkaryam pledges .

 

 

 

We have 16 pledges since announcing the Kaimkaryam on March 24, Sri Raama navami day . 44 dates are open as of Now.

 

The dates covered so far and the open dates are :

 

July 25 : Reserved : ( Vratam Start Date ) , SravaNam ( 7/26)

 

Five Open dates in July are : 26 (SravaNam) , 27, 28, 29 , 30 and 31 ( Periya Azhagiya Singar's Maasa Thirunakshatram) .

 

August : Reserved : 6 ( EkAdasi) , 11( Aadi Poroam) , 15 ( Swati) , 19 ( EkAdasi) , 21 (Dwaadasi), 23 (SravaNam),

 

Open : The rest of 24 days are open : Aug 9 (Aadi AmaavAsyai), 11( Chinna Azhagiya Singar Maasa Thirunakshatram) , 22 (SravaNam) , 27( HH Periya Azhagiya Singar Maasa Thirunakshatram) , 23 ( Rg Veda UpAkarmA ), 24 ( Yajur Veda UpAkarmA) , 25 (Gayatri Japam) and 17 more .

 

Reserved days in September : Sep 1 , 5 ( DhwAdaSi), 15 , 19 ( DhvAadaSi) , 22 ( Concluding day).

 

15 days are open in September as of now including Sep 4 and 18 ( EkAdasi) , Sep 7 ( Chinna Azhagiya Singar Maasa Thirunakshatram) ,Sep 8 ( AmAvAsyai),

 

Due to political unrest in Hyderabad , The venue for this Year's ChAthrumAsyam will shift now to another location . We should know about the choice in a week's time .

 

Please let adiyEn know about the dates of Your preference at your earliest convenience .W need pledges only as of now

to plan the event as in previous years . Your samarpaNams can be made thru Sri Matam Portal until July 11, 2010 , two weeks before the observance of the vratam on July 25 .
