Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur, Mumbai 'P anguni Uthira Mahotsavam '

concluded yesterday (21 mar 2008 ). Thirumanjanam to Sri Sridevi Sri

Bhudevi sametha Sri Prahaladavaradan and Thayar Sri. Chenchulakshmi was

held in the morning. . Thirukalyana Utsavam Sri Prahaladavaradan

marrying Thayar Sri Chenchulakshmi , sponsored by record 49 sevarthis

was held in the afternoon. This function saw devotees lining up grand

seer varisai of Gold Ornaments, Veshti Pudavai, plenty of fresh and dry

fruits. Gold ' Chenkol ' was seer to the groom and the bride had ' Gold

Addigai, Gold Pavazamalai, Thirumangalyam. Srimugam received from Srimad

Azaghiyasingar was read out.Thiruveedhi Purappadu was held in the

evening. Function conclded with Sertiarai Sevai and rendering of Gadya

Thrayam. . Throughout the day devotees throngned to the temple to

receive the blessings of Perumals and Thayars of this Ramanuja Shetram.
