Dear SrIvaishnavas,

Today is the tiruvavatara tirunAL of 2nd pattam jeeyar of ahobilamaTam.

Tirumalai nambakkam Krishnamacharyar ascended to AsthAnam during April, 1458 CE,

with the tirunamam 'SrIman nArAyaNa yatIndra mahAdesikan'. (look at the

similarity of pUrvASrama - tureeyASrama tirunamams of 2nd pattam and prakrutam

jeeyars)

With the divyAgnyA of Adivan satakopamuni, he composed over 60 granthams many of

which are lupthams now. 'nyAsa dasaka vyAkhyanam', 'sandhyavandana bhashyam',

'purushakAra meemAmsai' are a few among His granthams.

ThirunArAyaNan appeared in HH's dream and ordered to install the

divyamangalavigraham of Adivan satakopa jeeyar, which he executed at

thirunarayanapuram. Following this anushtanam, abhobilamtam in all divyadesams

install the archa tirumeni of the 1st jeeyar.

He established a beautiful 'maduramangalam' agraharam.

During March-1473 CE, He left from Melkote for MelnADu (paramapadam)

His brundAvanam is located at the bank of kalyani pushkarini of melkote.
