Pondering over nammAzhvAr, prostrating him, hearing on his

vaibhavam, feeling him, writing on his glories, reading his

srIsUktis and doing ArAdanam to him in the form of the divya-

pAdukAs are the ways to spend our time happily.

This type of kAlakshEpam is similar to the types of sAmAnya-bhakti

mentioned in Srimad bhagavatam:

SravaNam kIrtanam vishnO: smaranam pAda sEvanam |

archanam vandanam dAsyam, sAkyam Atma-nivEdanam ||

With the sadyOpAyam of prapatti, which has 5 auxiliaries, AzhvAr

attained the eternal kainkarya prApti at the lotus feet of

paravAsudEva perumAL, who is the prApyan and siddOpAyam.

One of the last pAsurams of tiruvAimozhi (10.10.2), wherein

nammazhvAr says " tiruvANai ninnANai kaNDAi " , brings out AzhvAr's

uncontrollable Artthi.

Pearls from the poems:

These two pAsurams bring out the happiest moments that bhAgavathAs

have and going to have in iha-para lOkams.

[saTAri Satakam is one of the many classic works of srI. U.vE.

M.S.Hari.]
