Dear Sri Nrusimha BhakthAs :

 

adiyEn was at SelayUr Sri Matam to enjoy the abhigamana AarAdhanam

by HH Srimath Azhagiya Singar on the sixth day of this KshEthrAdanam .

 

This day ( Oct 22, 2005 , Iyppai Mrugaseersham ) was my dear Father's

SathamAna Uthsavam . AdiyEn was fortunate to have the bhAgyam

of sponsoring NithyArAdhanam /TadhiyArAdhanam for that day and

additional TadhiyArAdhanam for the children of SelayUr Veda PaatasAlA .

 

This day was also a Saturday and hence many sishyAs had arrived

for MalOla Sevai during the abhigamana AarAdhanam and visEsha

TadhiyArAdhanam . Srimath Azhagiya Singar arrived from His aasthAnam

to BhagavAn's sannidhi with the sound of the appropriate mangala Vaadhyams.

At Sri Sannidhi , where Lord Lakshmi Nrusimhan was enjoying Yoga NidhrA .

the upachArams of SuprabhAdham , Viswaroopam & PanchAnga padanam followed .

 

The eye-pleasing and mind-filling , ancient kramams of Abhigamana AaarAdhanam ,

Ijyai and other activities of Srimath Azhagiya Singar during a typical day at

confine my remarks to the special Veda PaarAyaNam during the SevA Kaalam .

 

Sixty students from the SelayUr PaatasAlai learning Yajur Vedam and Twelve

students

learning Saama Vedam formed two seperate ghOshtis and had PaarAyaNam for

an hour to please MalOlan . It was a thrilling sight to see the enthusiastic

children

competing with one another to recite the Vedic passages that they have learnt

under

the affectionate and at the same time strict guidance of their Principal ,

Oragadam

Swamy , who is a student of SoorAdhyAyi , Sri PazhavEri SaThakOpAcchAr Swamy ,

the present Sri Kaaryam of Sri Matam . Both the Swamys also participated in

the Veda PaarAyaNam . The Veda PaarAyaNa GhOshti of future Pundits guided by

the stalwarts was a memorable sight . All of us have to be immensely thankful to

the foresight and untiring perseverance of Sriamth Azhagiya Singar to create

such opportunities for learning Vedam , Dhivya Prabhandham , PaancharAthra

Aagamam and SaamAnya Saasthrams to grow future scholars .

as HH approaches the 79th Thirunakshathram mile stone on Dec 10, 2005 . Please

of Srimath Azhagiya Singar , special educational releases are being planned

by a special Committee of SishyAs located in different parts of the globe :

along with Sri HayagrIva Sthuthi from Satha DhUshaNi ( Under way) .

 

(3) Assembly of the 141 Sri Sookthys of Sri Matam PoorvAchAryAs for release

with the active involvement of Sri MadhurAnthakam PaatasAlA students

in realizing Digital Storage of these precious Sri Sookthis .

 

(4) Digital release of the back issues of Sri Nrusimha Priya (Tamil Version)

in Scanned , CD ROM Format starting from the First issue released in 1942

until now.

 

(5) Digital storage and release of the back issues of Sri Nrusimha PriyA

( English Version ) .

 

(6) Raising of 6 Laks of Rupees as Core funds for supporting Sri Nrusimha

PriyA in the future and protecting it against the vagaries of increased

costs in publishing .

 

(7) A special Commemorative Souvenir for the 80th Thirunakshathram

(SathAbhishEkam ) of HH Srimath Azhagiya Singar during December 2006 .

 

A lot of funds will be needed to execute all these Kaimkaryams in a timely

manner . SishyAs and abhimAnis of Sri matam are requested to send in

suggestions on additional Kaimkaryams during this important period

( December 2005 to December 2006) and to support these Kaimakryams

on behalf of all AasthikAs .

 

In summary , adiyEn could not have thought of any other sacred way to celebrate

adiyEn's Father's centennary Uthsavam other than the way it was celebrated with

Veda

GhOsham under the adhyaksham of our revered AchAryan and with TadhiyArAdhanam

for BhagavathALs at Sri Matam and for the young students of Vedam at the SelayUr

Veda PaatasAlaa . adiyEn took leave of Srimath Azhagiya Singar reluctantly now

and

started the next (Seventh) day of my KshEthrAdanam to Srirangam , ThirumOhUr ,

Singar

Koil , ThirukkUdal , ThirumAlirum ChOlai and Sri Villiputthur to complete

the 100 TaDaa Akkaara Vadisil SamarpaNam at ThirumAlirumchOlai following

the path shown by AchArya RaamAnuja and the subsequent the Mutthangi SamarpaNam

for ANDAL and Sri RangamannAr at SrivilliputthUr .
