Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur, Mumbai conducted a grand Panguni Mahotsavam

for threee days from 19 Mar to 21 Mar 2008. Thirumanjanam was held on

21 Mar morning. Same day afternoon Thirukalyana Utsavam of Sri

Prahaladavaradan marrying Thayar Sri Chenchulakshmi took place. A

record number of devotees, 49 of them sponsored the Kalyanothsavam. A

new Gold 'Chenkol' was gifted by devotees. For Thayar, New Gold

ornaments,' Gold addigai, Pavazamalai, Thirumangalyam' were donated.

Huge number of devotees participated in the day long Mahotsavam ,a

befitting return gift for all benefits showred by Sri Mahalakshmi and

Sri Chenchulakshmi Thayar. Thru veedhi Purappadu was held in the

evening. The day concluded with Serthi Arai Sevai with sevarthis

reciting ' Gadya Thrayam '. There was never a slackness in devotion to

all perumals and Thayars during the whole day. The Kainkaryaparakars did

an excellent kainkaryam, practically with no break and were getting the

Perumals ready with Grand Alankarams for the subsequent event. A day to
