Thank you for the wonderful news about these rare

manuscripts of immense value to aastikAs .

 

These and other treasures need to be preserved and

made accessible thru the Digital Library route to

all students and practioners of Parama Vaidhika

VisishtAdhvaitha Darsanam .

 

These treaures and others similar to these can be

considered for publication in the electronic format

for world wide accessibility and protected for future

generations with the help of the Director of Sripedia ,

who has set up such a system linked to the U.S. Library

of Congress . I will be happy to discuss with him

the feasibility of extending the reach of his project to

archiving such treasures including your revered grandfather's

valuable publications .

 

Please save atleast one copy of these publications

for potential use .

Krishna Tatacharya were published to mark his birth centenary in the year

2003.

> First book is named as " Acharya Vandanam " , which includes

> Tatacharya's great Sanskrit composition called " GhantA-guru-stava: " ,

containing 32 verses on Swamy Vedanta Deshika. This master piece of his was

translated to English by his disciple U.Ve.Dr.Ramanujan , the Asthana vidvan

of Ahobila Mutt.

>

> an article named " Acharya mahimai " , 'Sri Bhasyakarar perumai " ,

" Deshikarum srimadANDALum " all in Tamil and " Deshikaru mattu bhagavadgItE " ,

an article in kannada are there.

>

> This was released by HH Rangapriya Mahadeshikan, on Sep 30th, 2003, at His

Ashramam.

>

> Second book is named as " Deshika hrudayam " .and contains 2 articles in

Sanskrit.

>

> " prapatti vidyAyA: angAni "

> " srI-tatva-siddhAnjanam " .

>

> This book in Sanskrit was released by HH Azhahiyashingar, on October 5th,

the thirunakshatiram day of Swamy Vedanta Deshika at Prakash Nagar,

Bangalore.

>

> The third book is called " srI-navya-ranga-yatIndra-stuti: " . This is a

stotram composed on HH Abhinava Ranganatha swamigal of parakala Mutt. U.Ve.

Venkatanathacharya, the Srikaryam of Parakala Mutt, has given a kannada

translation and explanation to this.

> This book was released at Parakala Mutt, on Swamy Deshikar;s

thirunakshattiram day itself (October 5th)

> The fourth book is Sri Tatacharya's excellent commentary in

manipravalam on " Yatiraja saptati: " , which was symbolically released on

November 7th, the aradhanam day of Sri Tatcharya's Kalakshepa Acharyan , Sri

HH Poundarikapuram swamigal, Sri Srinivasa Mahadeshikan.

> This was released by HH Poundarikapuram Swamigal.

>

> Note : The book is coming again in Tamil script. The work is in progress.

HH Poundarikapuram Swamigal Himself is proof reading this text. . I have no

words to express my gratitude to the acharyan. This will be published

shortly.

> The fifth book is called 'AnDavAbhyudayam " , a stotra kavyam on HH

Thirukkudanthai Andavan, translated to Kannada by Sri U.Ve. Srinivasa

Deshikacharya, asthana vidvan of Andavan Ashramam.

>

> This book was released on the day of " AnuShThAna kulothsavam " day , at

Bangalore, by HH Andavan Sri Ranga Ramanuja Mahadeshikan, during His

thiruppavai mangalam, at Bangalore, on January 14th.

>

> We are very unlucky to have lost his manuscripts namely,

>

> 1. His commentary in Tamil on Perumal thirumozhi - 500 pages

>

> 2. His commentary in Tamil on Nacchiyar thirumozhi 250 pages

>

> 3. Translation for Paduka Sahasram in English -500 pages.

>

> By any chance, if anyone happens to come across these (it is almost

impossible), kindly let me know.

>

> The II volume of his translation of Vedanta Deshikar's kavyam

" Yadavabhyudayam " , in English is not available. It was published in Chennai

during mid seventies. Hopefully it will be available there. I will be

grateful to anyone who can give any information on this. I am grateful to

Sri Anand Karalapakkam for sending me the first volume of the same.
