Dear all,

 

 

 

Blessed are Bangaloreans, for having seen acharyars like U.Ve.Kotikanyadanam Sri

Krishna Tatacharya, who was the personification of all the qualities of an

acharyan and brought auspiciousness to the month “maasi” and star “anuradha” by

taking birth in them. His jnanam and anuShTHanam were of the highest order

reminding one of Saakshat Swamy deshikar. Looking at his vairagyam, people

started calling him ‘Swamy”. He was a philosopher, a scholar, a saint, a poet

and more than anything else, a devotee. He shines like a nayaka-mani, between

the celebrated acharyars like HH Peria Poudarikapuram Swamigal, Sri Srinivasa

Mahadeshikan, (his kalakshepa acharyar), Sri Srinivasa Tatacharya (his rev

father), Hemmige Srinivasa Iyengar (also kalakshepa acharyar) , etc etc and

blessed, illustrious disciples like the celebrated Dr.N.S.Anantharangacharya,

Dr.Ramanujan, ashthAna vidvan, Ahobila Mutt, Dr Anantha Narasimhachar,

Srikaryam, Poundarikapuram Ashramam GanapATHa Anantacharya and many

others. He has authored many books in English, Kannada, Tamil and ManipravALam.

 

 

 

His 102nd thirunakshattiram will be celebrated on the evening of Thursday, the

3rd March, at Sri Andal Rangamannar temple, Garuthman park, Jayanagar,

Bangalore,amidst veda/prabandha parayanams and talks by Dr.

N.S.Anantharangacharya, Dr Ramanujan and Sri HR Sridhar.

 

 

 

HH Rangapriya Swamigal will grace the occasion and will release a book, “Ayushya

hOma prayOga “ written by Sri Vasudeva Tatacharya, a noted vadhyar at Bangalore

and the nephew of the Sri U.Ve.Krishna Tatacharya. All are welcome to attend and

have the blessings of the acharyas.

 

 

 

The said thirunakshattiram celebrations will extend to Sunday, the 6th of March

at the same venue. There will be Bhagavadgita recital at 1.30 pm followed by

“Perumal thirumozhi” sevai. A lecture on “kulashekhara- Azhwar vaibhavam” by Sri

H.R. Sridhar is there between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

 

 

 

I would also like to bring to your kind notice that the remaining 2 books of the

Krama-pATHa of Krishna YajurvEdIya taittirIya samhitA, authored by Sri kadambiS.

Ranganathan, will be released on the 12th of this month at Shankara Mutt, Ranga

Rao Road, Bangalore, by HH Rangapriya Swamigal. Sri Ranganathan is reachable at
