Guest guest
AdiyenDhaasan Request everyone to go through this mail please SRIMATHEY SRI NIGAMAANTHA MAHA DESIKAYA NAMAHA Dear Parent, Our humble pranaams to you. Jaya Jaya Sri Sudharshana The goal of human life is to attain eternal happiness. One can attain material happiness with material qualifications like B.tech, C.A, M.B.B.S etc which may (?) lead to a lucrative job in MNC’s. We see practically how people run from morning till night, sometimes throughout the night to earn money. But do they really attain material happiness? In the process of chasing money people have lost human values. One does not know what’s happening to the neighbour. We have become just money earning machines without any concern for the world. The competition for earning bread has become so tough that we are compelled to send our children to schools which confine them for not less than 12hrs a day. In the process the children have become memorizing machines. They just vomit whatever they have learnt throughout the year in the final examination. The very scheme of judging them purely on the basis of marks they score is simply stupidity. A boy may be well versed in his subject and yet can be foolish when it comes to tackling the external world .A businessman is said to be successful if he is able to cheat better than others. The growing number of “homes for the aged people” in India is a clear proof of the extent to which the elders are being neglected. The youth has almost forgotten our rich culture, embracing the western civilization. The dress which the youth put on is so provoking that it has led to increasing no. of crimes. The education that we give to youth burdens them with words and figures rather than improving culture and values. Modern education does not teach us to face the struggle in our life, it does not build our character, it puts mega bytes of information stuffed into our brain which remains undigested throughout our lives. This education does not teach us how to strengthen our character, how to help the needy and how to stand up on our own legs. There is hardly any personal contact between the teacher and the taught; many teachers do not even know the names of their own students. Management forces them to stuff the knowledge into the brains of students in order to get name and fame in the form of results. In this process they fail to produce leaders who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation. Kerala is the state where highest number of literates live At the same time, suicide rate is maximum in Kerala. This is a clear indication of the results produced by modern education. The parents bother only about the grades but not the character. Very few enquire the behavior of their wards in their institutions. Our children spend hardly a few hours with us every day. The influence of the friends, the media and the society shape their character. It has become very common to hear that our boys elope with girl friends and vice versa. They easily forget our struggle in bringing them up. Just for the sake of their own pleasure they leave us although we have brought them up in a disciplined manner to the best of our knowledge. We have been strict; we have given the best possible education to them taking all pains. Then why do they run away from us? Where is the mistake? What are we going to do to prevent such incidents in future? A man is known through his friends, but then how to choose a perfect friend? All our best friends need not be perfect in character. If our children mingle with friends who smoke, automatically they start smoking unless and until they have a strong character. It is common that a rose smells rotten fish if it is placed near a rotten fish. So, what are we going to do about this? How do we know who is a smoker and who is a drinker? What type of teachers do we have? Are they perfect in character? Selfless in teaching;? Do they have a thorough knowledge of subject? Can they communicate well if they have sound knowledge of subject? Is their methodology of teaching interesting? Are they sincere and dedicated in inculcating values in the minds of their students. We are not blaming the teaching community as a whole. There are teachers who use the teaching profession as a stepping stone in their career. Does a teacher shoulder the responsibility of all his students voluntarily? Does he take the responsibility if the student fails in the examination? He is sure to pass on the buck to various reasons like hard work, discipline, dedication, concentration etc. We are highlighting these points only to prove that it is almost impossible to produce children of strong character under these circumstances. According to the scriptures this is the effect of Kaliyuga. The only remedy to protect our children is to ensure good association, i.e., SATSANG. SATSANG is possible only through chanting holy verses from the scriptures. We can ensure that our students develop strong character through chanting powerful sound vibrations prescribed in the Vedas. According to the Holy Scriptures Lord Sri Venkateshwara is the only powerful God in this kaliguya. It is also clearly evident from the very fact that Thirupathi Balaji is the richest and powerful God in the world. He incarnated as Swaami Dhesikan in Kaanchipuram. He stayed on this earth from 1268-1369 A.D and composed various sthothrams to attain various results. One can attain excellent memory power by chanting Hayagriva Sthotram; one can attain wealth, land, communication skills by chanting Sri Sruthi, Bhoosthuthi, Godasthuthi. One can attain excellent health by chanting Sudharshanastakam. All poisonous effects in the body can be removed through Garudadhandakam. Some of the devotees have seen Lord Sri Krishna in person by chanting Gopala Vimshathi every day. There are many such sthothrams for interesting attainments composed by Swaami Dhesikan. Anyone irrespective of caste, creed, religion etc., can learn these sthothrams. These sthothrams should be learnt only from gurus who teach without expecting money, fame or other material benefits. Our teachers have been teaching such sthothrams for the last 10 years without taking a single rupee as dhakshina. Why don’t you join your children in order to reap the rich benefits arising from chanting Swaami Dhesikan sthothrams? We teach every Sunday at Alwal Sri Balaji Temple from 8.30am to 10am. Come, learn and be blessed. Send your children and thus provide a strong resistive power against the evil effects of Kaliyuga. We conduct competitions regularly throughout the year and award prizes to all the participants. Anyone who wishes to donate prizes like pens, pencils, erasers, geometry boxes, note books etc., can contact our organizer Sri E.S.Mukundan at 040-27960456, 9866225022. Thanking you for spending your precious time in reading this information. Humble Servants of Swaami Dhesikan.
