Dear SrIvaishnavas,

Thattai vidwAn u.ve Gopala Ramabhadracharyar was vayOviruddhar (68

thirunakshatrams) at the time of accepting mutt's nirvaham. He appeared in

Karukurichchi agraharam at the bank of Tambrabarni river in 'Anandha

samvatsaram, Margazhi pUraTTAdhi' (Dec-1854). As long as He was in AsthAnam,

kalakshepam of grantha chatushtayam, Satadhooshani, nyayasiddhanjanam etc was

going on very well and many scholars were in the goshti.

He took a short sancharam from tuvariman to sethu bank and tirupati and finally

stayed at Srirangam Dasavataran sannidhi. Although He did not travel a lot, He

acquired a lot of properties for Srimatham, which includes mutts at tirupati,

tiruppullani and vaduvur.

He composed around 6 granthams, one of which is on aththippattu azhagiyasingar.

He did prathishtai of vigrahams of 40th pattam jeeyar under 33rd pattam jeeyar

and himself under 34th pattam jeeyar in the silver mandapam. Also, He renovated

the Sathari with ratnams to be kept in the silver mandapam.

When he felt asakti in thirumeni He inducted injimettu azhagiyasingar as 42nd

pattam jeeyar. Subsequently His health improved and both 41st and 42nd pattam

jeeyars were doing malolan's thiruvaradanam for another 13 years.

He was in AsthAnam for around 20 years and He was laid to 'thiruppalli' in the

brundavanam that was built already in Dasavataran sannidhi.
