Two weeks have gone by and you have put up with my pestering magnanimously . Thanks to you all ! THIRTY THREE OUT OF THE 45 PAADHUKAAS HAVE NOW BEEN SPOKEN FOR OR COMPLETED . REGARDING THE REMAINING 12 PAADHUKAS WHICH NEED SPONSORSHIP , HERE ARE SOME DETAILS FOR YOU TO BRING THEM INTO YOUR LIVES: A. Among the 45 Azhagiya Singars , 8 have the blessed name of SrI NaarAyaNa Yatheendhra Maha Desikan . The Eighth of them is the Prakrutham SrImath Azhagiya Singar . FIVE OUT OF THE EIGHT Azhagiya Singars with NaarAyaNa NaamAngitham have been sponsored by other SrI Matam sishyAs sofar . We need three more sishyAs to come forward to sponsor the remaining three SrI NaarAyaNa YathIndhra MahA Desikans ( 18th , 22nd and 31st Pattams ) . Here are some details about these three MahAns : 1. HH the 18th Pattam Azhagiya Singar with BrundhAvanam in Srirangam. He reigned from 1734-1735 C.E. Full sponsorship OF $450 (20,000 rS) is needed . 2. HH the 22nd Pattam Azhagiya Singar , who has His BrundhAvanam in Paala Medu . He reigned in 1758 C.E. Full sponsorship is needed . 3. HH the 31st Pattam : He rigned from 1842-1847 C.E and has His BrundhAvanam on the banks of Cauvery river at ThyAgarAjapuram . This Azahgiya Singar needs partial sponsorship ( $ 275) to supplant the support from 2 other sishyAs . B . After the above three Azhagiya Singars , we need Full sponsorship for 9 more Azhagiya Singars($450 EACH) : 1. HH the 8th Pattam (1522-1539 C.E , Srirangam) 2. HH the 10th Pattam ( 1542-1559 C.E , ThirunArAyaNapuram) 3 . HH the 11th Patttam( 1559-1598 C.E/ Srirangam). 4 . HH the 16th pattam: ( 1694-1698 C.E/Thirukkudanthai) 5. HH the 17th Pattam( 1698-1734 C.E/Thirupputkkuzhi) 6. HH the 19th Pattam (1735-1746/PuLLambhUthangudi) 7. HH the 20th Pattam ( 1746-1748 C.E/ Vada dEsam ) 8. HH the 23rd Pattam ( 1758-1764 C.E/Sriranga PattiNam ) 9. HH the 24th Pattam ( 1764-1776 C.E / KOkkarAyan PEttai ). There is nothing more sacred than fulfilling the niyamanam of one's SadAchAryan . Please come forward to assemble the remaining funds needed for the 12 Paadhukais and conclude this Kaimakryam as soon as possible ( Subhasya Seegram ) ! Those sishyAs in India , who have unused Silver vessels collecting dust in the attics and elsewhere are requested to take these silver wares and present them to the SrI Matam for inclusion in the Silver Kavacham for the Paadhukais of our PoorvAchAryAs to protect them against the vagaries of time .
