As recent as today (Thursday, Oct 15, 2009) there are some RUMORS spreading around that Shrimad Azhagiyasingar has asked Sri Matam sishyas to celebrate Deepavali on Oct 17th and that Sri Nrisimha Priya has published these dates in their latest edition. These claims are false and these rumors have caused a lot of confusion to Sri Sannidhi sishyAs around the world.

We just confirmed directly from Shri Ahobila Matam in India that Shri Ahobila Mutt SishyAs have to celebrate DeepavaLi on Nov 14th night and Nov 15th morning.
