Srimath Azhagiya Singar left Mumbay on the morning

of Wednesday , Feb 21 and after day's halts at Poone ,

Sholapur , Hyderabad , Guntur , NellUr is expected to

arrive at SelayUr on Feb 27 .

A lot of functions were held since last Friday as the date of departure of

Srimad Azhagiasingar was advanced.Thirumanjanam,Thadhiaradhanam,Dolai etc. were

hosted by number of devotees.Friday,16th Dolai was by Temple,18th by Sri Desika

Sampradaya Sabha(Matunga),19th by Sri Ramani Dhambhathis,20th by Sri Desika

Sabha( koparkhairnaine,Navi Mumbai).Dolai for Sri Kanan was combined with Dolai

for Thayar Sri Chenchu Lakshmi,with a special addition of Sri Prahalada Varadan

also on the last day. Every day music concerts were held starting with

devotional songs by Chembur Children,then by Asthana Vidhushi Smt. Priya.Dance

performance were given by Chembur girls,then on last day by kum.Ramanujam.On all

days H H was present and gave Upanyasams.On the last day he concluded that even

though,due his injury he could not visit devotees houses to bless the families

and also in the process get sufficient funds for the mutt.As any body else,in a

lighter vain he said " pockect money " is also requried for Sri.Kannan. But the

devotees/shisyas of Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai have with their abandant contributions

have more than fulfiled the needs of the mutt.H H desired to return to this

kshetram again during Navarathri as the performance of Music and Dance was very

good and would like to hear them again.Recent Photos of these functions may be
