Our calendar indicates Friday July 1st the next Ekadasi. However, this time Ekadasi begins very close to sunrise time in the U.S. Therefore, observance for U.S. residents will vary quite a bit. I request everyone not to simply follow the date indicated in the calendar. Please consider the following carefully and make a determination for your location. If your sunrise time is at 6:34 a.m. USA Eastern Daylight Time or later, then Ekadasi must be observed on Friday, July 1st. If sunrise is before 6:34 a.m. EDT, then Ekadasi must be observed on Saturday, July 2nd. If you are not sure, please visit the following link to verify when to observe Ekadasi for your location. http://www.ahobilamutt.org/ekcalc/ekcalc-01.asp -- Dileepan
