The annual Acharya Thirunakshathram celebration weekend is under

active planning for September 2 and 3 at Sri RanganAtha Temple ,

Pomona , NY . You are all invited to attend.

 

SEvaaKaalam , Bhagavath AarAdhanam , DolOthsavam for KaNNan ,

Children's Program ,Quizzes, Cultural programs( Dance, Music ) and

delectable Bhagavath PrasAdhams will be most enjoyable during these

event filled two days . Sri Ranganatha Temple will serve as a local host

during the two days of the Celebration .

 

The Board of the Ahobila Mutt North America has to firm up

the numbers attending and make plans for the comfortable

and enjoyable two days for the participants and their families

These are two days for all of us to come together and celebrate our Parama

KaaruNika AchAryAs , whose Great UpakArAms can be never paid back.

 

Our noble AchAryAs have been saluted by NyAsa Soothrams as " Mukundha Tulya:

(Equivalent to the Moksham granting Mukundhan Himself ) .Without their

blessings

of SamAsrayaNam and BaranyAsam , we would have led meaningless lives ,

an animal edition of human existence . With their Knowlege of Bhagavath

Saasthrams ,

Balam,VairAgyam , inquiry of our welfare , we would be like ships on the sea

them .

our eyes to the significance of the Aathma VivAham with Malolan . After

our AchAryan unfailingly inquires about our well being .Our AchAryan is

joyous

when we visit Him during His sanchArams and the affection with which He

greets us

makes us shed tears of gratitude for the Mahaa BhAgyam of our uRavu with Him

which is indissoluable as with the Lord whom He serves .

 

For Such a noble AchAryan and His illustrious Guru Paramparai leading all

upto the Parama Purushan , it is very appropriate to assemble together for

two days in an year at the Sannidhis of Lord RanganAtha , Sri Ranga Naayaki

before them and enjoy Sathsangam with BhAgavathAs and sishyAs of Sri Matam

all AchArya Paramparais of Bhagavath RaamAnuja .

 

The occasion is for reflecting on Sruthi Vaakyams , AzhwAr Paasurams , Three

Rahasyams,

AchArya UpadEsams and " charge our spiritual batteries " and feel refreshed

to serve

our AchAryan , Fellow BhagavathAs and the SaraNya Dampathis .The occasion is

for

the children and younger generation to learn more about our ancient

traditions , while

they grow up in this country .
