Dear Friends,

The second anuvaga of Krishna Yajurveda mentions the occult

power/usage of Darbhai, its magnetic quality to bring down anything

from anywhere.It is the main instrument with which the Pitrus can be

invited to receive our offerings (Tarpanam).

In our Vaishnava tradition the esoteric teachings have not

been widespread.

Even the occult applications of Water --- it is universally used in

all rituals as Astral Light --- is rarely known among the

Srivaishnavas even in the heart of Tamil Nadu.

When I tried to explain some Asthikas , they could not

easily understand the rationales of all the 24 Water Rituals ---

Jalanjali etc.

From your enquiry on Darbhai , which is a minor topic, I

wonder whether anyone knows truly the occult powers of the commonest

chemical --- WATER?
