Dear bhagavathas

 

The centenary of U.Ve. Parankusachar swAmi was celebrated in a grand

manner by his illustrious kumArar U.Ve. Ramanujachar, Asthana Vidwan

Sri Ahobila Mutt, at Bangalore on 19th. Starting 15th Jan there were

pArAyaNam (RG and Yajurvedam) both in the morning and the evening by

some leading adhikAris. After the sattumurai some of the vidwAns spoke

about Vaikuntavasi Salakshana Ganapadi U.Ve. Sri Sogathur Parankusachar

swami. Our Sri Karyam swAmi spoke about this mahAn and his anushtanam

of highest order. Swami also recalled that Srimath Injimedu

Azhagiyasingar used to emphasize about the importance of anushtAnam.

gnAnam bereft of anushtanam is of no value.

 

Srimath Rangapriya swAmi later released a commemorative souvenir.
