Guest guest
Dear Swamin/Mathusri, Adiyen said in the previous part 2 that the King's beatuiful young daughter " SURATHANI" noticed Namperumal. She was in the upper portion ( Ubbarigai or Maadam ) of the Court-yard of the King. She believed that the idol smiled at her. She requested her father--king to send the idol to her. Immediately , the King ordered to take the idol and to present it to her beloved daughter. The brahmin girl of Thiruvellaraiwho came there as a maid-servant took " Namperumal"in her both hands like an affectionate baby and climbed the stair-case to give the idol to the Princess Attaracted by the charm eyes and friendly smile of this girl while receiving the idol, the Princess felt some new friendship with this girl. She asked the brahmin girl to continue her services as maid-servant in the Palace. When the Princess received Namperumal from the brahmin girl, she felt a new relationship with the idol. Accompanied by the maid-servant, the Princess fled to her room taking Namperumal in herhip/waist. Was it not a "Vahana"for " Namperumal"in the palace at Delhi ! The Princess enjoyed this and her happiness was limitless and beyond boundary. She asked the poor brahmin girl( maid-servant) in her language about Namperumal. This brahmin girl elaborated in detail about Namperumal in "prakrut". Soon both of them came just like as sisters.. Everyday this brahmin girl usedto tell the Kalyana gunas of Namperumal to the Princess. All these praise/descriptions made the Princess ever close to Namperumal. She did not spare Namperumal even while sleeping. Days passed on This brahmingirl who was acting as a maid-servant longed to restore " Namperumal" in the sanctum sanctorum at Srirangam again as she knew that thousands and thousands of " Ranga bakthas " would be restless without the darshan of Namperumal and without enjoying " Simha nadai" , " gaja nadai" etc during uthsavams. At the same time she felt that the Princess will not allow Namperumal to leave her.At one night, there was a dream in her sleep when Namperumal asked her to take action for His return to Srirangam , by telling " Stalaththaars", " Arayars", " Acharyas" etcabout His stay in the palace of Alauddin Khilji Next day early morning, she woke up from the sleep Do you know the name of brahmin girl of Thiruvellarai who was bold enough to travel to Delhi with the soldiers accompanying Namperumal as a maid-servant and who made thick relationship with the Princess ? Please tell, before continuing adiyen's next e-mail about what she did further to fullfill the desire of Namperumal Sarvam Sree Hayagreeva preeyathaamDasanUruppattur SoundararajanSrikainkarya See the Web's breaking stories, chosen by people like you.
