Sri Ahobila Mutt, Chembur ,Mumbai held 108 Thada utsavam in Silver vessels ( actually 125 sevarthis contributed for the sevai ) on 11 Jan 2009. This function is held on "Koodavalli" pasuram day since 2006. Silver vessal with sweet pongal as prasadam is given to the sponsor devotees. At Srimad Thirumanjanam was conducted to Srisannidhi perumals. Later in the evening a Dolthsavam was sponsored by SriPrahaladaVaradan Sreepadam Thangikal Sabha. A dance performance on Andal Vaibhavam was performed by children of local dance school. The sabha also ,as in the past, gave a gift to all kainkaryaparakars of Srimadam.
