Sri Ahobila Mutt is extremely pleased to share the news with all of you that

the pratishtai of our AchAryAs and AzhwArs (*NammAzhwAr, Thirumangai Mannan,

Bhagavad RAmAnujar, SwAmi DEsikan and Adivan ShatakOpa Jeeyar swAmi)* was

completed with the divine grace of Srimadh Azhagiyasingar and Nava

Nrusimhans at AhObilam and arrived in the USA today, Sep 24, 2008. Following

is the summary of the events that happened during the pratishtapanai.

 

1 - Srimadh Azhagiyasingar spent a considerable amount of time sitting on

the floor gracing and adoring these divya thirumenis very shortly after they

were carried to AhObilam.

2 - Pratishtai of AchAryAs and AzhwArs was held on SarvadhAri varsham ,

Avani mAsam, 28th day in the asterism of Avittam Nakshatram which was shuba

yOgam and shuba dhinam. As per the English calendar this happened to be

Sept. 12, 2008.

3 - Sri U.Ve Vaduvoor Lakshmi NrusimhAchAr SwAmi, also known to all as

Vaduvoor mAmA, performed the yAgams over a 3 day period at the divya dEsam

close to all our hearts AHOBILAM at PrahlAda Varadhan swAmi sannidhi.

4 - After the completion of the pratishtai, all the AchAryAs and AzhwArs

were carried on a pallaku (palanquin) with mELa tALam, chatram, chAmaram and

other upacharams, to Sri MalOlan's sannidhi.

5 - On 13th september these AchAryAs and AzhwArs graced the vishawaroopam of

Lakshmi Nrusimhan at lower AhObilam and received his Sri ShatAri.

6 - All our AchAryAs and AzhwArs were a part of the Abigamana Aradhanam of

Sri Malolan on sept. 13th.

7 - Srimadh Azhagiyasingar offered the prasAdams of Sri MalOlan to these

AchAryAs and AzhwArs .

8 - Along with individual AruLa pAdu by Vaduvoor mama for each and every

AchAryA and AzhwAr, all Sri Malolan's honors (mAlai , theertham and Sri

Shatari) were offered by Srimadh Azhagiyasingar. After offering all the

honors Srimadh Azhagiyasingar received the malais from these AchAryAs.

9- During gOshti viniyOgam Srimadh Azhagiyasingar took each of the AchAryAs

and AzhwArs with his thirukarams and placed them on his shiras.
