Recognition of the Participants in the MahA Mantapa Kaimkaryam , Oushadha Giri , Thiruvaheendhrapuram

Dear AasthikAs:

 

There will be a marble or granite stone that will be placed

at the Mahamandapam , Sri Hayagreevar sannathi , Oushatadri,

Thiruvaheendrapuram to recognize the aasthikAs , who have

helped to realize this MahA Mantapam on top of the sacred hills,

where Lord HayagrIvan presides as the Sakala VidhyA Moorthy.

 

The names of those who provide samarpaNam of Rs. 50,000 or more

will be inscribed on that marble slab to stay for all times to come .

 

In addition to the inscription of donor's name , SriKainkarya

will present one silver (10 gms pure silver)coin depicting

Sri Hayagreeva on the one side and Swami DEsikan on

the other side and also give a colour photo consisting of

Twelve forms of Hayagreevars with dyana slokas for pooja

to those who would have contributed Rs 50,000/- and above.

 

Contributions at every level will be recognized by Srikainkarya

through the special souvenier released on October 12 opening

of the MahA Mantapam for the Purattasi SravaNa Nakshathram

(Birth Day ) celebrations for Swamy Desikan on top of Oushadha Giri

at Thiruvaheendhrapuram .

 

A samarpaNam of Rs.1008(~ $25) will help to provide the coverage of

THREE Square feet of the MahA Mantapam and part of the construction

of the 21 concrete pillars that will form the base for the flat roof

to replace the thatched coconut leaf ( temporary ) pandhal this year .

Any amount is welcome .

 

A SamarpaNam of Rs.3,200 (~ $75) will help to create the coverage of

TEN Square feet of MahA Mantapam Floor Space along with

the 21 concrete Pillars for Lord HayagrIvan's Uthsavams

and daily usage by the pilgrims seeking the anugraham of

Lord HayagrIvan for their families regarding VidhyA GrahaNam .

 

The recognition of donors of Rs.50,000 and above has been referred

to earlier .

PurattAsi SravaNam day & ascent to Oushadha Giri

In the chosen early morning time , Swamy Desikan adorning

the most dazzling RathnAngi presented some 35 years ago by

HH Sri Thirukkudanthai Andavam will leave from the Mirror room

near His Sannidhi to the accompaniment of dhivya Prabhandham

with the archA Moorthy of Lord Yoga Hayagreevan in a seperate

ThOLukkiniyAn via Lord DevanAthan's sannidhi , Sri HemAbhjavalli

Sannidhi and exit out of the temple premises and proceed westward

via Maada theru with Veda ParAyaNa GhOshti following Him and

Several Naathaswara and Thavil VidhvAns in front of Him . The sevai of

Swamy Desikan delighting us all with the RathnAngi and dhivya tEjas

of our AchAryan accompanied by Yoga HayagrIvan blessed to Him by

Garuda Bhagavaan in person at Oushadha Giri is a feast for the eyes and

one can say that he or she has attained PiRavi Payan .

 

Swamy Desikan and Yoga Hayagrivan will climb the hills step by step

to the accompaniment of the big gjOshti ( little boys and senior VidhvAns

and AchAryAs) and go thru the newly constructed MahA mantapam

on top and make a PradhakshiNam of the outter and the inner PrAkArams

of Lord HayagrIvan's mian sannidhi . After that , Yoga Hayagrivan

will be united with Moola BhEram and Uthsava BhEram Haya grIvan

in the garbha graham and Swamy Desikan will be seated in the small

four pillar Mantapam in front facing the MoolasthAnam . Veda PaarAyaNam

that stated at the time of PuRappADu of Swamy Desikan from His aasthAnam

will now conclude . Curtain will be drawn ( Thirai SamarpaNam) at the

inner sannidhi of Lord HayagrIvan . TaLikai offerings ( BakshaNams ,

ohOrai , Fruits et al ) will be offered to both HayagrIvan first and

to Swamy Desikan next . After the opening of the curtain , KarpUra

Haaratthi will be done . Parivattam , Garalands from Lord HayagrIvan

and other MaryAdhais will follow from HayagrIvan . Next will be

theertha prasAdham and SaThAri to the ghOshti . Lord HayagrIvan's

VisEsha TaLikai will then be distributed to all at the MahA Mantapam .

 

At his point in time , Garuda DhaNDakam and Garuda PanchAsath will be

recited . Swamy Desikan will make the PradhakshiNam of inner prAkAram ,

take leave of the Murthys at Garbha graham and depart with Yoga HayagrIvar

presented to him by Garuda Bhagavaan .

 

The descent down the steps starts now and is an elaborate one.

Many Sri Sookthis are recited . Veda PaarAyaNam resumes . The Naathaswara

and Thavil VidhvAns show thewir mastery of SampradhAya sangeetham .

Desika gahdyam will be recited . At each step , Karpoora Haaratthi is made

and

the journey is resumed with the announcement : " Swamy Yetzarikai "

 

After a slow descent from the hill , which gives us time to enjoy Swamy

Desikan in RathnAngi and His majestic Sri Sookthis in Sanskrit and Tamil ,

Swamy Desikan will arrive t the southern rampart of the Temple

and make a PradhakshiNam and enter the temple and go straight to Lord

DEvanAthan's

sannidhi . The MangaLAsAsanam of the Lord by Swamy Desikan will commence

with

the recitation of MummaNikkOvai , Navarathna Maalai , Sri DEvanAyaka

PmnchAsath

and Achyutha Sathakam will take place . This will be followed by

MangaLAsAsanam

at every other Sannidhi at the temple complex .

 

SripAtham ThAngikaLs are all Sri VaishNavaas at Thiruvaheendhrapuram

for this festival and others .If there is water in the Garuda Nadhi ,

Thirumanjanam

will take place in the small four pilalred Mantapam in front of the river.

Otherwise ,

there will be no Thirumanjanam.

 

After Swamy Desikan returns to His aasthAnam ,the Divine Couple visit

Swamy Desikan . It appears as though They come for Ubhaya KusalObhari

about the day's events on the Thirunakshathram day .

 

Swamy Desikan's avathAra Sthalam is at Thuppul near Kaanchi .

His UpAsanA and Manthra Siddhi of Sri VynathEya (Garuda) and

Sri HayagrIva Manthram were at Oushadha Giri , Thiruvaheendhrapuram .

Swamy spent 40 of years on and off at this dhivya dEsam , built a well

with His own hands and created a vigraham of His own ThirumEni ,

which was consecrated after His ascent to Parama Padham by His son ,

KumAra VaradAcchAr at Thiruvaheendhrapuram , where we worship

Swamy Desikan . This is the Archaa Moorthy of Swamy Desikan adorned with

RathnAngi , who climbs the Oushadha Giri for the MangaLAsAsanam

of Lord HayagrIvan , who blessed him abubdantly all thru his life as

an exponent of Bhagavath RaamAnuja SiddhAntham . The details of
