Guest guest
Hi Janne, i have found this information on page 109 in Kundalini Yoga Sadhana guidelines, Kundalini Research Institute 1996: Long Ek Ong Kar's are chanted without musical accompaniment. But i see that there are many CDs with this mantra with musical accompaniment. Other source of information: For example in http://www.susankezios.com/ there is : MEDITATION – LONG EK ONG KAR (MORNING CALL) you have to scroll to the right ciao Marco from CH

Guest guest
Dharam, i have the CD Ambrosial Moon Sadhana, Wahe Guru Kaur Khalsa, 1997 and the first track is: Long Ek Ong Kars(7 minutes - 2 1/2 breath cycle) Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru but i will not play it. The Mool Mantra is the song number 3. Guest guest
Tamboura drone with Long Ek Ong Kars not considered " musical " accompaniment. Semantics. It's almost just a " cosmic echo " of the sound current. You could chant the mantra in a very resonant location such a tiled bathroom and get a similar feel. Guest guest
Marco: You can play it! It is not forbidden. Dharam just pointed out there is no music accompaniment. People are just chanting it on the CD.
