Guest guest
HeartRegarding questions about the Radiant series http://www.kundalini-matashakti.com/radiant.html, the Radiant series were the result of handouts to the TT classes I used to teach. The focus is more on the experience and process of transformation to be able to realize the experience. Much of what was written, however, is not really understandable, unless one has taken up a daily Sadhana. This is because the discussion regarding Radiance (Laya Path) is meaningless until one begins to feel and adjust to the Radiance, which is felt in parts of the body and eventually evenly throughout, as a kind of voltage, a voltage that will eventually impact the Voltage of the Infinite Being, to which it normalizes, is absorbed and taken beyond the mind and body. Also, the experience of inner withdrawal (Pratyahar Path), also presented in the TT Manual, is meaningless until one begins to see the nadis within the body and the subtle movement of prana, through which it is realized that who we are actually sees with the light of Consciousness Itself and that the apparent light within the mind and senses is a reflection of the True Light to which, once discovered, we are drawn. Together, these 2 enable the emergence of a sense of singular ineffable devotion and inner quest, which in turn enables the experience of " Hearing " and the inherent knowledge that contains is also grokked (intuited). Along the way through, there is a lot of interesting information Yogi Bhajan imparted to keep the mind occupied, involved and fascinated, while the process of Sadhana takes effect. Ultimately, the purpose of all of these methods is that the impurities of the mind are distilled enough that the reflective consciousness, within which images of the mind are seen, reflects the True Seer, the Light of Consciousness which illumines all and which is the True " I " of our sense or notion of " i " which is entirely beyond concepts. So, that while the lens of the mind is gradually transformed through the affect of practice, ultimately there arises an inner sense that feels like something that both pulls you inward, while outshining the images of the mind through which we judge the nature of the world and out position in it. This Singularity, which appears in the Spiritual Heart, the " One Star " referred to by Yogi Bhajan, feels like " inner quest " what yogis call " vichara, " a consideration that begins to permeate all physical and mental activity of " to whom does this world appear " not just what you see and experience with the senses, but also the impressions in the mind through which we interpret the world. It's as though the mind stops altogether and you are suffused with this Consideration of " Who? " A Radiance, different from the voltage of Radiance from Sadhana, pervades and penetrates in and through the atoms of the body, disengaging and blowing apart all electromagnetic encodings that bind the sense of " I " to the notion of identity with images and impressions. The focus is then on the consideration of where and what is this Seer that absorbs and gives light to the seen. Who and what is this subject " I " which most of us have mixed with the impressions of the mind resulting in a notional " i " which we think is real and true. But when the True " I " emerges, It pulses inwardly and steadily " I as I " and you abide as That, unconditioned, uncaused, without time.... Actually, the Teachings of the Saviors is to go first to That, after which all things will be added. But in the practice of Sadhana, kriyas, mantras, kirtan, etc, some of the experiences of the chakras begin to open. Often seekers get waylaid by these experiences, often thinking that these are the Truth that they seek, even though there are only also part of the reflected consciousness, howbeit, with a diminished impairment of impressions to judge by. When the " hearing " in the Heart arises there is a radical relinquishment of all impressions, a discarding of attention altogether, and you experience your Self as abiding singly and pervasively, as Consciousness Itself. Within the Words of the Saviors is contained this impetus to " hearing. " They act as a kind of reminder of who and what we really are, because That which is True within us remembers Itself in the stories of the sacred Lives and Words of the Saviors, which are always succinctly reverberating our innate Truth. So, when the mind and body are attuned through Sadhana, the True Hearer emerges and we recollect our True Self, which is something we could never before have imagined. Then, we understand the purpose of the many churches and temples of every religion around the world since the dawn of man, that these are archetypes imbedded in the mind of man where mankind is inevitably driven to take the sacred words and house them in a tabernacle to bring forth for all of us to listen to in so many ways, words that, regardless of the intentions of those that manage these temples, have the power to unleash the Truth within the Temple of the Body. It fills us to the depths with meaning in everything. So all these many methods with accompanying experiences all lead to the same Source, where all methods and experiences are discarded, similar to the analogy of using a stick to stir a fire, which once stirred consumes the stick as well. Once the Fire is impacted, It becomes the Way. Pieter
Guest guest
Thank you VERY Much Pieter! How I needed to be reminded of this. I had some interesting psychic experiences with a male health provider. The experiences were of a second chakra nature, and very explicit in the astral realm. I had never really lucid dreamed before. Although I found it enjoyable, I began to split off because I did not mirror the astral pleasure with real life (much to his surprise) At the same time I intuitively began Sadhana, and was lucky enough to have a small group in a neighboring section of town ( 30 miles away - driving at 3:30am ;}) But I did what seemed impossible I went for 22 days before the hosts left for Thanksgioving and I was left on my own- and it was not quite the same as basking in the energy of the adepts. I wsn't very successful. After I started up again, it was not the same. I'd show up 2-3 times a month because the Kundalini is zinging and I'd find I must balance out every so often. I had forgotten why I was going for the initial 40 days- BTW 40 days is just to establish the habit...It is a lifetime " project " I had been on that path and actually having so much energy that some was Shiva like, and pretty destructive to my perceived detractor. Whatever that means?.. After I read your lovely posting I am back to daily Sadhanna. I had forgotten why I began the parctice, to reenforce " Who I AM " and to cleanse the body and to revel in the Long EK's to vibrate that body armour right off my skin and out the aura. Reading your posting reminded me why it is vital to be in pratice of Sadhana. All this energy can become whatever the mood, if there is no discipline and no love. Thank you very much for this most important reminder.
