On the 3 disc set of Japji sung by Wahe Guru Kaur, she sings each pauri

of Japji, as a different tune. There are 27 songs

total, inclusive of the 40 pauri of Japji. So, yes there is a musical

version of the 37th pauri of Japji.

This is an amazing CD, Wahe Guru Kaur worked on it for over a year,

making sure the pronunciation was correct and that

the translations were done right, and practiced so that it was recorded

live over the course of just 1 or 2 weekends. It is

one of my favorites. It was also engineered by Guruka Singh Khalsa

She sings each song in both Gurmukhi and English. The pauri that are

the same such as the 'Sunia' are all in one song.

You can purchase this set at

Wahe Guru is also on the CD with Tantric Mool mantra

As for the Wahe Guru, Wahe guru you can listen to this 'Wahe Guru'

chant by Sangeet Kaur

This reply and question is in response to Sat Simran Kaur's posting about the Japji. Specifically, I have a question regarding tantra: "Wahe Guru is also on the CD with Tantric Mool mantra " is the reference. One of my students signed up to become an instructor in "pink tantra" or Ipsalante Yoga created 35 or 40 years ago by an individual here in the States. Yes, he and I have had the expected conversations about why not take the ancient mantras handed down to Yogis in Kundalini Yoga which come from an etheric consciousness, etc., etc. and "Why create something new when there are already ancient teachings?" His response was "Why not" to which, of course, my response was referring to the etheric gifts to Yogis of mantras . . . . and so we go. Both being polite but my wondering why people want to invent new forms when the masters have already provided us with classic forms. Ah, to point: Tantra. I found in Shakta Kaur's Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan, the definition of trantra as longitude and latitude, in short, a bindhu or a point. That makes sense to me. But there seem to be so MANY different interpretations of what "tantra" truly is. Seeing the reference to Tantra Mool Mantra made me finally write and ask for as many clarifications and commentaries as Spirit moves readers to make. Dear Simran kaur,

Sat Nam.

Glad you shared the Story of the quality of Wahe Guru Kaur and Guruka

Singh creating perfection of Japji in English and Gurumukhi as a

beautiful blend flowing back and forth.

I recall the two of them creating this as I was living in Columbus

when they created it there. Then I moved to the Brooklyn Ashram with

Wahe Guru Kaur and get this beautiful finished Tape Series that they

did. Living with her, I found her daily creative self- " voice of

bliss " (per Yogi Bhajan's quote about her voice) constantly persuing

her God-given talent of processing auditory unity resulting in

excellance. I should know as I am a Visual Perceptionist-

understanding the measurements and virtues of creative constructs.

She created a way musician's could create Kirtin & Mantra's

expressively, sorta beyond the classical, yet be able to achieve the

same spiritual results when using them for meditation. She designed

an art of creating music that has inspired other kirtin players to go

even futher today. We are very fortunate to have had her create this

Japji Sahib for us, but I am highly inspired by new creations by Sat

Kirin's, Satnam's, and others. It is great to hang out with non-

kundalini yogi's to hear " Game of Chants " playing in their cars.

Wahe Guru, yes! Of course, everyone should have Wahe Guru Kaur's

(WAH!), Japji Sahib as one of their favorites!

True Peace,

Sat Nam Pavan,

Yes I saw that you had posted about this meditation or so I thought.

It's on page 101 of Sadhana Guidelines.

Sitting in easy pose, hands in Gyan Mudra with focus at the brow you

chant

Wahe Guru Wahe Guru

Wahe Wahe Wahe Guru

for 2 cycles (eight times total) inhale deeply and repeat. Time open.

I much prefer musical accompaniments which is why I was looking for

one for this mantra. I understand it's for the 10th body.

Peace,
