Sat Nam Max and all others,

I too suffer from a similar type of heachaches, and yes, they are truly

debilitating.

As yours, it starts at the temples and spread over the temporal and frontal

lobes of

the brain. The temples are physically very hot and so are the ears and sides

of face.

I've researched the topic a bit and found out they are not migraines, as

they are bilateral, and , as Wikipedia says, are probably caused by anxiety.

If we all look, we can always find a little source of that in our lives,

mine anyway. But, as Sting sings, there is a deeper way than this, and I

feel it is more a symptom of a greater shift going on. I found out that my

heachaches subside when i concentrate on a steady but continuous task of

some sort. It can be accounting or baking a cake. I find that this sustained

mental activity helps keep the pain on the back burner and eventually make

it dissapear. But this is a Yoga group. Is there a pose for this?

Looking forward to any suggestion,

with Love and Understanding

SSS has said that sitting on the left heel can take away headaches.

forgetting about your present that where u are standing ,what u are

doing, everything , consentrate your view in space where there is

nothing, then start rubbing your palms on each other, starting

smoothly to fast, when you feel warming in ur palms, put your palms

at the site of headache ,rub gently as you are rubbing your palm on

the head of GOD(whoever you are beleiving), feel your touch, then

remove your palms from the head, gently press your palms on your

eyes, now slowly open your eyes, put your palms down on any part of

your body only.

this will improve your healing . try and try again . within two to

three trials your headache will vanish. this you can do for few mins

and freshly start your own works.

Thank You

Seems as though the sitting on the heel maybe would work in the same manner as

reflexology--if the pose were stressing the same reflexology spot---I haven't

done anything in this area for quite some time yet I also am interested in

working with.
