Guest guest
Dear Friends, Sat nam! I recently returned from Indiana where I spent 5 weeks with my mother who transitioned May 4th. I have written a 14 page story about my experience with Mom/Ruth, who first introduced me to yoga in 1968. She radically altered her life at the age of 53 when serious health problems presented her with the choice of die or change her life style. Ruth started the first Self-Awareness Center in Evansville, Indiana and was Evansville's first yoga teacher. She was a pioneer who brought yoga, meditation, Reike, Feldenkrais and other new age experiences to the Mid-West for the first time. In the end at the age of 91 when she was immobilized with spinal stenosis, Hospice told her she was too healthy to die. My sister Kirin Kaur and I worked with Mom in her last weeks to assist her in merging with the Light. I am happy to report that Ruth is doing very well on her next assignment. I would like to share an unusual story about life and death with you. The most beautiful thing is that Mom maintained her sense of humor to the end. I include many of her final jokes. You will laugh and you will cry. The full story is available in html format on www.yogatech.com/nmb This is issue #132 of New Millennium Being. I know many of your have already received it. The revised, expaned version is now on www.yogatech.com For those who are not yet receiving my monthly newsletter, you can to this free ezine by sending a blank email to NMBeing- Many blessings, Guru Rattana Coronado/San Diego
Guest guest
I was happy to hear about the pioneering your mother did in natural health! I am a board member of Gerson Therapy, the alternative approach to curing cancer. So much of our illness is in our thoughts and judgments While I am doing the motions and postures I " get " that much of it is just to get our already thinking out of the way. Remove the mind and access the body and the heart. Hard work! ;} I am excited to read your newsletter and am happy for your work AKAL Joan > Dear Friends, > > Sat nam! > > I recently returned from Indiana where I spent 5 weeks with my mother who transitioned May 4th. Guest guest
Dear Joan, Thank you for your letter. Dear Joan, Thank you for your letter and reminding us that -- So much of our illness is in our thoughts and judgments While I am doing the motions and postures I " get " that much of it is just to get our already thinking out of the way. Remove the mind and access the body and the heart. Hard work! ;} * Actually we cannot " remove " the mind. What we do is go into the neutral mindl The more we can access and stay in the neutral mind, the less a hold the thoughts from our rational mind have on us. I will discuss this in my next NMBeing newsletter on Gemini. It is of course a challenge to stay in our neutral mind, but the more we do, the more it pulls us into the neutral space.
