back problems, and yoga

Hi I am new to the list, and figured I would introduce myself. I am a

23 year old female looking to improve my health, and feel a little bit

better. Now on to the issues, I had gastric bypass surgery and lost

over 120 lbs but as I did so I lost a lot of muscle in my back, and

have begun having horrible pains, in both my lower and now upper back.

I saw a few doctors who diagnosed me with scoliosis and herniated

discs due to losing too much weight too quickly.I was hoping that I

could stretch out some of the kinks in my back and build up some

strength in them while I was at it, anyone have any suggestions?
