Guest guest
Thank you Guru Rattana! I was not sure if I could do this but I have practiced going inward in a crowded room and found silence (and peace) within and after the first time I was hooked. I would like to try this with a mantra, is there one you suggest? Also, I am new to Kundalini Yoga and have not worked with Mantras before, is there a 'beginner' mantra or kriya you would suggest? Peace, Gina
Guest guest
Dear Gina, That is great that you could get hooked on the inner silence in a noisy room. Good job. The mantra that is basic is Inhale Sat, Exhale Nam. If your breath or mind is faster then use SA TA NA MA. You can read about these on the free on-line lessons on www.kundaliniyoga.org There are really no beginning mantras from the point of view that you out grow them. But Sat Nam and SA TA NA Ma are so basic that it is good to start with them. Blessings, Gururattana Thank you Guru Rattana!
