Guest guest
Hi there, iam a new member of this group of yoga. i wanted to be a member of this group because i want to practice meditation and yoga for my inner satisfaction and peace mind. Everytime, i suffer from depression and resentment. i do have low self- esteem and i can't talk freely as others due to fear. i don't have self- confidence, as well. But when i knew the advantages of yoga and meditation in our pressurized daily life, i got interested in it. So, i got interested in it. But iam a novice in this field of yoga and i don't know how to get started in yoga. I am eagerly waiting for any kindly suggestions. Is only closing eyes and praying a part of meditation and yoga. Please help me. thanks kyaron nepal
Guest guest
SAT NAM, Yoga is the right thing for everything. It will heal us inside out, increases our awareness so that our negative traits fall out, when you say you dont have self confidence realize that also have it but you have to learn to focus on that and strengthen it. Positivity and negativity co-exist. To get started on kundalini yoga, the best place to start is with the online lessons by GRK you could also buy yoga books like " Sadhana guidelines " and others. visit www.kundaliniyoga.org website and click on online lessons. Let Guru Ram Das bless you and guide your way. I pray that your negativities leave you and you start your Happy, holy and healthy life. Guest guest
Hi Kyaron, I have had similar emotions that do not serve for the best, and I've found yoga and especially meditation help greatly. Meditation helps to stop the circular-thinking, or repeated negative thoughts.. and creates a calm mind. Then there is more clarity, and I can focus on what I wish to create. Yoga helps increase confidence by seeing that I have discipline, and seeing my increased ability and flexibility. It also helps to calm and stabilize the mind, and emotions. I find one thing that helps me the most, is doing the simple Long Time Sun meditation. I always feel light and positive afterwards... maybe since it involves me wishing good for another, and focusing on creating good energy for them. Look at the free Classes on kundaliniyoga.org/classes.html They are an excellent introduction, and they start very lightly and easily. I've been doing kundalini yoga for about a month. I'm no expert but I am familiar enough to notice how it helps me. Guest guest
Aloha, I was looking for somewhere close to home to practice and I wrote to the Mahalo Retreat in Volcano. They never even wrote back. So much for feeling the love.
