Guest guest
Dear all Next week I will be in the States and spent several weeks in NYC, for a research purpose at Columbia University. As I will be there I wonder if there would be a chance to get in touch with what seems to me an utmost active KY-movement in the US. So far I have experimented KY through the online lessons and the forum, yet have not had a possibility to meet KY veteran practicionners. Are some of you in NYC during this time? Is there a center or group I may visit, even now in summer time (when most centers close down for a holiday)? All I am sollicitating is sharing a chat over a cup of tee I´d appreciate the opportunity of meeting someone of you, a master-diciple of Yogi B. or experimented practicionner. I´d be very glad about it, for the inspiration and driving force of example. Please feel welcome to write me offlist, if you wish. Thank you very much. Guest guest
GuruNam (J. Levy) teaches there. He is Phenomonal. http://www.universalforceyoga.com/ I think he teaches more of the lectures, rather than yoga, but he has classes there taught by others. Guest guest
Sat nam, many thanks to everyone who has kindly taken time to share their recommendation on centers and KY teachers in NYC! I am going to visit all of them and perhaps then we shall even meet in person. Best wishes to all of you. Guru Rattana: your take on the issue about pain of separation is really it! We are continously blessed by your sharing of insight and wisdom. Correo Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis! Guest guest
Gurunam adds his own experience to the teachings. That does not make his teachings impure. He is often a featured teacher at Solstice, therefore a respected member of the 3ho community. Guest guest
Dear Elisabeth, Sat Nam! Visiting all of them I think is a great idea. They each have their different flavor. You will have fun. I know the teachers Chris and Gurunam at Universal Life Force. Try to take a class from each. Guru Rattana: your take on the issue about pain of separation is really it! We are continously blessed by your sharing of insight and wisdom. * thank you. We do have to get to the source of our pain or we just keep spining around. Many blessings, Guru Rattana
Guest guest
I was not implying that his teachings were impure, nor that he was not respected in the 3ho community. Just giving the poster information about what's available in NYC. No offense meant. The yogis at Universal Yoga are welcomed here!!! Guest guest
Sat nam oh, of course, I do understand the added information positively! I will have a look at it, too. A combination in this sense is very good because from there, it will be more clear to me what the real KY is and how I might, eventually, find my own creative approaches to integrate it with other interests I have. Btw, it's my third day in NYC and I am so stunned! Such a beautiful city, so many different faces, so many people smiling really friendly, can't even take in so much at one time! A stroll yesterday, Sunday afternoon, in Central Park was a nearly spiritual experience. Correo Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis!
