Guest guest Posted July 21, 2007 Report Share Posted July 21, 2007 Hello KY yoga group! I am new to this but I have been practicing the exercises in the beginning ky yoga lessons for about 6 months. It is not the first time I have practiced KY; the first time was about 25 years ago in Alaska. I did it for about a year and now I am back. I love the exercises and I really see a difference from 25 years ago. These exercises are very, very energizing in some surprising ways. I do it before I meditate which I have been doing for a long time. I teach in a high school and I would say that I " need " meditation and yoga just to deal with stuff. I live in the So Cal desert which is far from a real KY teacher. I am going to a nearby city tomorrow for a class. Perhaps the teacher there can tell me if I am doing things correctly. I have practiced all of the beginning KY yoga lessons and each day I choose from among 3-4 sets that I found on the kundaliniyoga.org site. For example, I do the Prana-Apana Balance and Sat Kriya exercises. I look forward to reading the posts and participating here.
