Guest guest
Thanks so much for the help. Regarding the kriya, I am still somewhat confused. I must keep the stomach in(just as if you were putting on a pair of jeans that doesn't fit your waist) every time I do a pump right. I'm still somewhat confused on how to pump. When you do pump, should you tuck the stomach even more? As I was still trying to do the kriya, I also found that it takes considerable effort to hold the breath, and pump at the same time(16 pumps in less than a minute is hard to do). Is there any advice on stomach pumping and breath holding? Kundaliniyoga , chris charles <ccharles79 wrote: > > You are using muscles that you normally dont use so this is normal. When you get a rib pain stop rest. The next day try again but a little bit longer. Push air out on the exhale as if you had a fly on your nose and were try to get rid of it, making the inhale automatic. Dont overdo the exhale and use equal forces on inhale and exhale. Sodarshan start with 5mins for 40 days keep stomach in and pulse inward on the pump. You will doubt it is working this is your mind resisting the change you are creating. Maybe some deep sadness or anger before a release around day 40. Some people may take longer. Then bliss. Very powerful go slow. -Chris > > baleada1 <baleada1 wrote: Hello, > > I'm new at the breath of fire technique and have done it as instructed > by yoga videos online, all of them showing the same process for the > breath of fire. Guest guest
48 pumps with no pause count 4 wa-hey-gurus on each finger then switch nostrils and exhale to 16 wa-hey-guru- One pump for each syllable. It´s more of an inward pump don´t let your stomach come out too much. You feel pressure inside your head that´s a good sign. Don´t worry so much about the technique. Just do your best. Start with 3 mins. it´s hard to do at first but then it ghets easier. Also if you´re a woman pump lighter during your period. -Chris oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links.
