Guest guest
Hello KY group! I have had a great Summer. I have been able to do a lot of yoga, specifically KY yoga. I feel real strong and I think I have learned a lot. A while ago someone from this group helped me find a KY yoga teacher in a nearby town. I went there and it was a great class. I will be back to teaching again in about 2 weeks (middle school). I have been studying the ten bodies and what I would like to know is whether one works with them as a whole or if one can work on specific " bodies " . In a book I have called Kundalini Yoga by Shakta Kaur Kalsa there is a brief discription of the 10 bodies and some exercises. I have experimented with the exercises and they seem to be excellent, very calming and energizing at the same time. I would like to find out more about how to work with the 10 bodies. What I am attempting is to practice a group of exercises each day with some meditations that I could do in a short period of time (30-40 minutes) when I go back to work. I would appreciate any suggestions, ideas or recommendations. Sat Nam Fred
Guest guest
Dear Fred: You can work on each body individually. There's a book by Nirvair Singh called the 10 light bodies I believe, and Agia Akal Khalsa has a great double DVD that describes the 10 bodies and he gives meditations for each of them. Check out http://www.icyas.com/ The school is in Toronto, Canada Blessings, Awtar Singh Rochester, NTY

Guest guest
amihosami To everyone of this group Last night i was in my village home to pass the week-end with my family.During the midnight i steped out of my home to have a ramble under the moon. The surrounding atmosphere was so serene that i could hear my own breathe. At the same time a thought was surging inside my heart.I was feeling so lonely that I could not hold myself inside me.I tilted my head to gaze at the moon, it looked hazy by cloud but the ground seemed so transparent to me in a moment with the silvery light of the moon.I saw the curtain of the cloud being removed so hastily from arround the moon that i felt, as if the moon was unveiling itself to show its beauty to me and was telling me " Look how beautiful i am! " and instantly i was so thrilled that is really unexplicable. After whiles when i pull down my eyes to see the beauty of nightly earth of the silvery moon.I felt shiver through-out my whole body knowing how beautiful the earth can be.I was mesmerised at the pleasantly beauty of the night.I looked arround and saw all the trees are absorbed in praying.I tried to look behind the stars in the space but i felt numb. Then i came back to my bed then felt tears streaming down my cheek, i felt sorrow for something but i don't know for what. joan richards <joancarol wrote: Sat Nam Fred, Nirvair Singh Khalsa's book, The Ten Light Bodies of Consciousness. has information on the Ten Bodies, sets and meditations for each. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Fred, your question sparked my interest in a book I had set aside over a year ago, " Let the Numbers Guide You - the Spiritual Sience of Numerology " by Shiv Charan Singh. This book weaves a richer tapestry in my mind. Peace, Guru Gopal Kaur On Friday, August 3, 2007, at 09:52 PM, slothmander wrote: > Hello KY group! > > I have had a great Summer.
