Guest guest
Hello- I did a search on " newbie " , and found a few postings, but they were by people who already seemed familiar with yoga. Me, I'm a total noob. I'm in that awkward " too old to be young, too young to be old " crack. Recently shed my fundamentalist Christian upbringing (not Christianity, just organized religion). Looking to experience & explore now. My employer has a fitness center, which offers Hatha yoga classes, but for some reason, using the fitness center has a " Sally Struthers strip mall school " feel to it. If I'm going to do something, I want good training. Is it advisable to start out with Kundalini Yoga? If not, can anyone suggest a starting place? I live in the front range mtns outside of Denver, so Boulder's not too far, but still a good drive away. I'm sure Naropa U has some of the best, but can't make that drive too often, since I drive 30 miles the wrong direction for work. Any thoughts appreciated. Thx goober
