Guest guest
Hello, I too am an avid reader of this book and tend to practice many of its techniques every day. However, I have had some trouble in performing a number of the medical meditation exercises, and because there are no knowledgeable kundalini yoga instructors in my area, I find it rather difficult to perform or assess the accuracy of my exercises. I would be glad to hear if you could help me with some advise with particular yoga postures. Please let me know if you or anybody else could help. jorge Kundaliniyoga , joan richards <joancarol wrote: > > Good morning, > > I have read the book again and again and use it as a source for my > own practice and working with others, though claim no expertise. > > Sat Nam > > Guru Gopal Kaur > On Sunday, August 5, 2007, at 06:26 PM, baleada1 wrote: > > > Hey, > > > > Is there anybody familiar with the title Meditation as Medicine, by > > Dharma Singh Khalsa. Guest guest
Jorge, Please be specific with your questions and help will follow. If you include the page number or particular posture, it would help. Guest guest
Hello, I have questions regarding the following exercises: Special meditation for the 3rd chakra. How exactly should you chant Hummee Hum Brahm Hum? p201. Should you chant it the same way as you chant Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo (with the same pauses, such as the way Guruchan Singh Kahlsa)? p251, to balance and recharge the nervous system, the one with the hand lock mudra. Do you inhale as you press the hands or do you inhale, hold the breath, and as you hold the breath you press the hands? For p273, to bring the light to all chakras, I understand that this is a very strong, and therefore, demanding form of yoga. As I hold the breath and do the abdominal pumps, I eventually have to exhale and gasp for air as if to avoid suffocation. Any advice to help better this problem? Thank you so far for volunteering.
