Guest guest
Sat Nam, When I was learning about numerology, my teacher taught us that when using our numerology for growth, we need to first work with our Soul # (internal world and way of being)and Karma # (your experience of the external world./enviroment)....once those are in balance, then our path number naturally arises out of that. Our gift #, needs to be " ignited or activated " , so to speak and we do that by first recognizing it, then feeling gratitude for it....and it can be an aid in working with our soul and karma numbers, as well. We can also take our Soul # and subtract our karma # from it...and this will reveal the body that we can use to effectively work with the Soul and Karma #. And maybe somebody could correct me if i am confused, but if your karma # is larger then your Soul #, I believe you would subtract Soul from karma? For example: My soul # is an 11 and my karma # is a 8...11-8=3..... 3 is the " positive mind " ...so when I am working with the 11, which would be related to my inner world and how I feel stressed or out of balance internally....I could employ my positive mind, which would involve my everyday creativity and problem solving, the ability to see all as equal and to see the light in all and also it relates strongly to being able to work out my shadow side and retrieve the gift in the garbage. The same would apply when working with my Karma # the 8, which would relate to my experience with the outside world and my enviroments and how I feel balanced or stressed in those enviroments. So i could employ the qualities of the 3 when working to balance my 8, as well. And for anybody who knows me, they would be able to look at my life and see strongly, how i employ creativity, problem solving and processing my shadow side in everything that I do....and when I do that, I begin to work effectively with the 11 and 8 and see them come into balance. Each time I do that, I see more and more of my path # qualities emerge, which is the 9. Before I had that information, I was attempting to work on my path number first, thinking, yes I want to live my path!, not realizing that it emerges naturally, once your internal (Soul #) and external world (Karma #) gets worked out, balanced and in service of your highest good. Guest guest
Guru Gopa Kaur, I was born March 20th. My soul number is 20 and my karma number is 3. I will subtract 20 from 3 then remain 17. What I need to do when I get 17. I need to add 1+7 together or subtract from each other or remain the same? When I get result then when I can find and read the explanation for each number? Thank you Helen joan richards <joancarol wrote: Helen, Your Soul Number is the day of your birth and Karma number the month of your birth. Guest guest
Helen, Pardon my lack of information in calculating the Soul and Karma numbers. The numbers are reduced down to the lowest possible number. Your Soul number of 20 becomes 2 (2 + 0 = 2). I was born on the 23rd of February. My Soul is 5 (2 + 3 = 5) and Karma is 2. You can log into the 3HO website, 3ho.org, click on Tantric Numerology on the left side of the page and follow instructions for a further information and a reading. There are also numerous books available. Check the Yogatech website. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Lots of questions about numerology! Like somebody else mentioned, the 3HO site, has the information for calculating your numbers. Without those basics, you wouldn't really have any idea what i was talking about in my post, so it's best to start there and get that information to begin with. Then you can get a book for information on the 10 bodies and their qualities...check out Yogatech.com My experience with learning numerology is that to truly be able to apply it, it's a lot easier if you have a teacher. I read the books, but it wasn't until my teacher sat down with us and found out all our numbers and then by knowing us, was able to point out examples of how the numbers work in each of our own lives, that i really began to understand and be able to apply it. Setting the intention to intuitively begin to understand and recognize the different bodies, at work in your life, helps as well. Reading up on the qualities of the different bodies...finding out your friends numbers and then looking to see how those numbers get reflected in their lives....these are all useful ways of beginning to understand the 10 bodies. There are lots of layers to the understanding. I've been working with it for about 5 years now and after reading the post i sent the other day, i was able to go deeper yet and recognize that in the quality of the 3 is the ability to see all as equal and i became aware of how that isn't always true for myself. I have times when I don't feel equal to all and like wise, there is an unconscious part of me that reflects that as not seeing others as equal to me, at times. Of course this is all at an unconscious level, obviously, if I was conscious of it, I would be working with it. So after seeing that in my post, this morning when i sat down to meditate, my intention became to remove the obstacles in my path that are currently, keeping me from experiencing myself as equal to all. So while meditating, some of what those obstacles were arose and I was able to begin processing them and letting them go. And through this process, which is the path of the 3 (to work through the shadow), i come closer to the manifestation of the balanced aspects of my soul # the 11 (Command center) and my Karma # the 8 pranic Body. Guest guest
Sat Nam, I have a question regarding Soul, karma and other numbers. I was born in a country that dates are not same as here. For example the month of June is the 3rd month of our colander year rather than the 6th month as here. Same thing with days of the month, 1st day of our month equals with 21 of here. I have been living here more than 25 years so for me both of these dates feel natural and close to my heart, which of these 2 different dates should I consider when I want to find my Soul and Karma numbers?
